Objectives.

  1. Define various modalities through which patients can contribute narrative comments and stories
  2. Describe how various narrative sources, including commercial websites, experience surveys, and online content can be used by physicians and hospitals to improve care
  3. Discuss the challenges of using narrative data and methods for potentially overcoming some of these challenges
