Objectives.

  1. Learn effective approaches to engage hospitalized patients with substance use disorder in both inpatient care and subsequent outpatient care
  2. Gain clinical skills to detect and treat alcohol and drug use disorders with medications
  3. Identify opportunities to teach within the clinical setting about care for patients with unhealthy alcohol and drug use
