Objectives

1. To define the Anatomy of the Spinal and Epidural space
2. To describe an appropriate assessment of a patient with an epidural
3. To describe catheter management and assessment
4. To describe Pain assessment and managment
5. To describe the physiological effects for epidurals and appropriate nursing interventions
