Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Describe mechanism of action of methotrexate.
  2. Identify 3 potential toxicities of methotrexate.
  3. Discuss management of methotrexate neurotoxicity.
  4. Recognize signs and symptoms of transient myeloproliferative disorder.
  5. Explain the relationship between TMD and trisomy 21.
