Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Recognize the clinical signs and symptoms of necrotizing fasciitis
2. Understand the role of clindamycin in the treatment of necrotizing fasciitis
3. Evaluate various clinical scenarios to decide when to challenge a penicillin allergy
