1. Discuss the measurement of residual renal function and why patients lose RKF on dialysis
2. Describe data supporting the mortality impact of RKF in the hemodialysis population
3. Discuss ways to preserve RKF and how that might be applied in the form of incremental hemodialysis for some patients
