Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Describe rates of trauma among people affected by substance use disorder
2. Describe the effects of trauma on patients in our care
3. Identify the names of the four principles of trauma informed care
4. Describe how the four principles of trauma informed care can be implemented to support patient care and engagement.
