DAY 1
1. Recognize our roles as residency educators in fulfilling Baystate's mission.
2. Describe the importance of defining programmatic strenghts.
3. Identify your program's strenghts using data from core faculty.
4. Define our core purpose and how to present and report this purpose to others.
5. Recognize the difference between core visiion, core purpose and strengths.
6. Describe and give examples of commonalities between programs.
7. Create a useful, inspiring BHAG.
8. Define Envisioned Future and BHAG.
9. Describe the role of the BHAG in creating a great residency program.
10. Demonstrate how these goals reflect your core purpose and programmatic and system wide culture.
11. Review and gain accountabilitiy for your programmatic goals.
DAY 2
1. Develop and compse dissemination strategies for your message.
2. Develop residency brand based on core values, strengths and BHAG.
3. Recognize the importance of branding in identity development and recruitment.
4. Develop and obtain methods to disseminate your residency btrand amongst residents, core faculty and less engaged faculty.
5. Identify methods to help disseminate your message to your administration and beyond.
6. Recognize successful negotiation strategies for managing up and engaging administration.
