Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Describe the roles of the members of the health care team in their respective responsibilities for quality care.
2. Discuss the role of mechanical endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) of posterior circulation of circle of Willis.
3. Debate the role general anesthesia vs monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for AIS in terms of neurological outcome.
4. Explain current concepts of pathophysiology and management of delayed cerebral ischemic (DCI) in patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH).
5. Discuss blood pressure targets for patients with AIS and eSAH.
