As the number of Veterans who seek healthcare through community providers rises, there is an increased need for education and training to understand and meet Veteran-specific health needs. This educational series will increase the healthcare provider's level of competence and cultural competence in order to more effectively meet Veteran-specific health needs. This series will additionally educate on when and how to appropriately refer Veteran clients to providers who specialize in Veteran care.
