The Department of Surgery supports the continuing education of all faculty: physicians, residents, staff, and invited guests. Surgical Trauma Morbidity & Mortality is held every Wednesday morning from 8:00 - 9:00 am in MM5. The purpose is to present and discuss clinical care as it relates to the patients on the Trauma Service, with updates on new research and technology, and addresses any other issues related to the care of the trauma patient. Trauma M&M is an essential component of surgical and medical education overall enhancing clinical and critical thinking skills with a common goal of achieving quality patient care.
