Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1|Integrate trauma theories and dynamics to conceptualize cases with multiple traumas and or complex trauma
2|Utilize TF-CBT PRAC components with fidelity and flexibility to effectively support and sustain caregiver engagement
3|Discuss ways to successfully navigate complex family dynamics, including parental substance use history and intergenerational trauma
4|Learn modifications to meet the needs of families with a wide range of cultural beliefs, developmental strategies for younger children, personal and community challenges and barriers
5|Increase understanding of how to use play in trauma treatment with young children
6|Increase confidence in ability to use TF-CBT effectively with families with young children
7|Increase confidence in my ability to support positive parent-child relationships among families with toddlers, and young children
