Series Overview

Transitioning from a clinical nurse into the role of charge nurse can be both intimidating and challenging. This workshop is designed to define the responsibilities of the charge role and offer support and resources via active learning strategies to the new charge nurse.

As a result of participation in this educational series, nurses new to the charge RN role will demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to become a confident and competent charge nurse. Practice time and case studies followed by discussion will allow for personal growth with initiating difficult conversations, providing feedback, and identifying resources.
