Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:

  1. Assess symptoms and changes in weight that may indicate worsening heart failure.
  2. Use three clinical assessment methods to evaluate a person with heart failure.
  3. Determine the appropriate next steps when a person with heart failure gains 6 pounds in 4 days.
