Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Describe the roles of the members of the healthcare team in their respective responsibilities for quality care.
2.To review when a clinician should suspect an interference with a test result.
3.To discuss the main causes of interference with endocrine tests.
4.To Illustrate different endocrinetest interferences by contrasting clinical utility with technical pitfalls associated with current thyroid methodologies.
