Objectives

After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
1. Describe the roles of the members of the healthcare team in their respective responsibilities for quality care.

2. Describe the difference between adaptation and de-adaptation

using chronic hyponatremia as an example.

3.Identify, prevent and treat hypocalcemia caused by denusamab.               

4.Explain the normal and abnormal water homeostasis and how

sodium, idiogenic osmoles are critical to cell size preservation and recognize the treatment controversies in hyponatermia.
