Objectives

1. Describe the current efforts to improve quality of inpatient care by reducing over diagnosis of CAUTI through urine culture stewardship.
2. Describe the utility of laboratory test utilization bench marking for quality improvement to reduce cost and unnecessary care.
3. Recognize the impact units of measurement can have on the quality of healthcare.
4. Recognize the role of Premier's Service Line Analytics software for identifying opportunities for improving the quality of medication utilization.
