This course is designed for healthcare professionals including physicians, infection control practitioners, physician assistants, infection control practitioners, physician assistants and nurses.

- Provide an overview of future treatments for HIV infections.
- Discuss current HCV treatment guidelines.
- Discuss HCV treatment strategies in primary care setting.
- Discuss the most relevant infectious disease literature of the past year.
- Discuss sites of care and opportunities to (re)initiate medication addiction treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder.
- Identify resources for opioid use disorder treatment
- Discuss the importance of both microbiome restitution and immunologic response to Clostridiumdifficile colitis.
- Discuss the management of relapsed Clostridum difficile colitis.
- Discuss the latest adult vaccination schedule recommendations.
- Discuss new vaccines for adults.
- Describe how the cycle of transmission of pathogens extends beyond the hospital.
- Identify how to improve infection prevention in the outpatient area.
