The Infectious Disease Conference is now virtual only. There will be no in-person attendance option.
Goal:
This program aims to convey state-of-the-art Infectious Disease information to health care providers in the community that is of practical aid in the management of patients. As a result of this symposium, new knowledge should allow for better patient management in the areas covered.

Target Audience
This course was designed for physicians, microbiologists, nurses, infection control practitioners, pharmacists, and practitioners in chronic care facilities.
Learning Objectives
- Discuss new recommendations from the ACIP regarding routine adult vaccinations, including new strategies and technologies including the latest on COVID-19 immunization.
- Describe recent developments in HIV treatment and prevention.
- Discuss the latest epidemiology, pathogenesis, and management of COVID-19.
- Discuss the emerging epidemiology of Monkeypox clusters globally.
- Recognize the signs and symptoms of Monkeypox.
- Describe the process for diagnosis and management of patients with suspected Monkeypox.
- Discuss common STIs, including typical and atypical presentations, and new treatment recommendations.
- Discuss the recent Infectious Diseases literature and how to apply it in patient care.
- Discuss diagnosis and treatment of tick-borne infections.
