Airway Management, Oxygenation, Acid-Base Disorders, Trauma and Burns, Cardiopulmonary and Cerebral Resuscitation, Shock, Coronary Syndromes, Critical Care in Pregnancy, Acute Respiratory Failure, Mechanical Ventilation, Ethics, Life-Threatening Infections, Special Considerations
**Registration fee is $400 for physicians and $300 for all others**
Target Audience
This course is designed for physicians, residents, advanced practice providers, nurses and respiratory therapists.
Learning Objectives
- Prioritize assessment needs in critically ill patients.
- Select appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Identify and respond to physiologic changes.
- Recognize and initiate management of acute life-threatening conditions.
- Determine the need for expert consultation and/or patient transfer and prepare the practitioner for optimally accomplishing transfer.
