This course is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical students, residents, interns, RN's, LPN's and medical assistants in the Western MA/Northern CT community.

Learning Objectives
After participating in this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
- Gain understanding of basic treatment goals and modalities for the major diagnostic classes of wounds including debridement, topical treatment modalities, the role of culture and antibiotics, the indication for advanced modalities.
- Gain understanding of difficult to heal wounds and the best approach to wound delivery.
- Have better knowledge of the current state of the art for hyperbaric medicine and how it benefits many wound care patients.
- Gain understanding wound care pathways and appropriate consultations including vascular surgery, podiatry, endocrinology, general surgery, plastic surgery.
- Improve on the knowledge of advanced healing modalities including bioengineered skin products.
