The goal of this educational activity is to address issues of concern to practicing clinicians in order to improve the quality of their care and meet the MA BORIM risk management CME requirements

The UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate Department of Family Medicine & Baystate Continuing Interprofessional Education.

Target Audience

This course is designed for Family Practice and other Primary Care Clinicians.

 

Learning Objectives

 

1. Discuss BORIM Risk Management CPE/CME Regulations.

2. Describe the impact of Implicit Bias in Healthcare.

3. Develop newer approaches to treating chronic pain as a biopsychosocial condition in which medications are one "tool" in a tool belt of many options to manage pain.

4. Recognize warning signs of burnout in yourself and others and learn about local resources to help.

Refund Policy:
Your refund, less a cancellation fee, will be processed within two (2) weeks from the date we receive the written notification.  For credit card refunds, please allow one to two (1-2) billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.
