| DESCRIPTION LIFE STAR provides critical care transport to injured and ill patients of all ages, including STEMIs, ischemic strokes, intracranial hemorrhage, burns, aortic dissections, respiratory compromise, and traumatic injuries. Our capabilities include transport and initiation of blood products, video laryngoscopy, advanced clinical guidelines, and the ability to care for patients with multiple medical devices and conditions. The LIFE STAR crew is made up of Flight Respiratory Therapists, Flight Nurses, Flight Paramedics, Pilots, Communicators, Mechanics, and a Medical Director. There are two medical crew members and a pilot on every mission that we fly, regardless of age, injury, or illness.
